Spring is upon us in Woodstock, Georgia, and the it seems like the perfect time to start making our way outdoors with a cigar and a cocktail. Pick out your favorite cigar, grab a lawn chair, and get your mixing glass ready for a refreshing cocktail.
Here are a few, easy to make cocktails to enjoy with a cigar this spring:
Cigars and Cocktails
Ginger Ale and Bourbon
- 1.5 oz of Bourbon
- 2 oz of ginger ale
Grab your favorite bourbon (we suggest Four Roses Yellow Label) and mix with in your ginger ale with a stirring spoon. Add ice, light up your cigar, and relax. If you’re looking to add a spicier (complex, not “hot” spicy) flavor to the mix, try using Bulleit Rye Bourbon.
- 2.5 oz of strong, hot coffee
- 1.5 oz of your favorite Irish Whiskey
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Pour the coffee, the whiskey, and the brown sugar into a mug, stir, and enjoy. This is a great drink to enjoy on those cool, spring nights with your favorite cigar.
- 1 part Drambuie
- 1 part Scotch Whisky
For many of us single malt Scotch lovers, we believe that a good single malt should be drunk neat. When making a Rusty Nail, stick to that rule. Use a blended whisky, which usually mixes better with cocktails, and enjoy.
